The Convention, Visitor and Tourism Commission (CVT), which markets the county as a tourism destination using the brand name Festival Country Indiana, is the official destination management organization for Johnson County. The organization helps residents and visitors to best enjoy the communities of Johnson County through its website – www.festivalcountryindiana.com – and its social media, including www.facebook.com/FestCountryIN/. The organization aims to be a leader in destination marketing and product development, contributing to the economic vitality of Johnson County and helping to make Johnson County a better place to live and visit.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in aspects of the ground up coordination of an inaugural Indiana Soccer event benefiting the Indiana Soccer Foundation in memorial of Rachael Fiege. Events within the Festival are to include a 5k run, 8v8 and 6v6 soccer jamboree, a 4v4 formal tournament and FootGolf. Responsibilities also include working with the city of Westfield, the Grand Park Complex and Indy 11.

Assist in aspects of coordination and recruitment of volunteers for all 500 Festival events• Coordinate projects, organization, and set-up of Family Fun Nights• Coordinate annual Volunteer Recognition Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway• Work to orchestrate information and placement of volunteers at all 500 Festival events and Education Program Study Trips• Help to create a positive volunteer experience for all participants to encourage retention of volunteers • Assist in creating and maintaining accurate volunteer records• Assist in committee meetings and dissemination of meeting minutes• Assist in communicating with all volunteers through monthly newsletters and the online registration system
