August 2017 – Present Director Wheeler Historic Farm, Salt Lake County CorporationHighlights of Accomplishments:· Completed MAP grant and planning for Wheeler Historic Farm in tandem with Parks and Recreation Administration and Wheeler Farm Friends, Inc.· Actively updates and invests time and efforts in strategic plan for Farm· Increases revenue through additional special events, store revenue and improvements to rental facilities.· Develops and sustains strong partnership with USU Extension· As Staff Liaison to Wheeler Farm Friends, authors grants and cultivates relationships with donors, most recently for the Wheeler Farm Outdoor Education Center· Served on Murray City History Advisory Board for two terms working with city residents and board on preservation and history programming for Murray City· Promoted to Farm Director in 2017 after serving as Heritage Preservation Manager for four years. Solved multiple staff and morale issues, fired and hired essential staff, brought animal care in line working closely with experts from USU Extension and USU main campus, improved training and communication for staff, repaired relationship with Granite Technical Institute.· Cultivates a dedicated full and part time staff. · Oversees all social media, and approves all PR materials, the Farm does not participate in any paid advertising.
