As a partner in Murtha Cullina's Litigation Department and Construction Law Group, I represent clients ranging from large companies to regional mid-sized businesses on construction matters as well as business litigation. I counsel construction managers, owners, subcontractors and designers regarding claims and dispute avoidance and resolution and also represent and advise them in drafting and negotiating their construction contracts. I represent clients in state and federal courts, in arbitrations and in mediation in the trial and resolution of construction disputes involving allegations of breach of contract, defective work, mechanic's liens and Chapter 93A violations. I counsel and lead clients in the presentation of potential contract claims and help them secure their lien and bond rights.I also was a founding board member and served proudly as president of the Boston Chapter of Professional Women in Construction. Formed through the collective effort of seasoned AEC professionals, the PWC Boston chapter’s mission is to connect, promote and advance women and diversity in the AEC industry, and actively engages women and men from AEC and affiliated firms.I have also served as a Vice President of the Massachusetts Building Congress and co-chair of that group's Women's Network.
