As a chloride monitor, it is my responsibility to collect, log, and protect data in the Rouge River Watershed.In this role, I collect grab samples from 40 sites within the watershed, and sample them 4 times over the course of 4 months. These samples look at: dissolved Oxygen levels, nitrates, specific conductivity, conductance, chloride levels, and finally, temperature. Data is collected and read via a YSI and entered into Survey123. An additional salt strip test is performed on-site. I am then responsible for delivering grab samples to a lab for further analysis within a specified time frame.

This research aims to understand what corporations, companies, and government agencies are looking for in terms of new hires in sustainability roles. As a researcher, I have created and am managing a database of information on CSO's from Fortune 500 companies, mid-cap companies, and federal agencies. I am coordinating and holding interviews for each company or agency to gain their insights on the job market landscape in sustainability-related roles, attention to skills needed in the ESG and sustainability realm, and what is upcoming in this sector for the next 5-10 years. Finally, I am analyzing the data and findings into a final report and a presentation. This information will be made available to SEAS faculty and presented at a conference with other sustainability-related studies from top public schools around the country in mid-August.

In my role as a consultant, I have designed a presentation for orientation to the incoming 200+ SEAS class regarding the Dana building’s systems and features, additional properties, and ways to contribute to Dana’s net-zero initiatives. Additionally, I have created a building manual for faculty and staff that includes information on system functions of HVAC & radiant panels, solar, steam, lighting, and zero-waste initiatives such as the compost toilets. This was worked on collaboratively with another team member and serves as a running document for facilities.I have also calculated energy production, costs, cost savings, and prepared visual models associated with the solar sighting, to implement a solar energy field on Newcomb's property in a written proposal to the Dean of SEAS. The visual models were done through Helioscope.

As a Pet's Hotel Associate I engage in customer relations, greeting pets and pet families in the hotel. I advise pet parents on different services and solutions available to create a customized experience for their pet. I also answer questions and concerns from pet parents, ensuring they are comfortable and their needs are addressed before leaving the hotel. Upon pick-up I report out on how their pet did during their stay, their health, and friends they made!I interact directly with the pets, playing with group dogs during Doggie Day Camp, ensuring individual-stay dogs get exercise too, and ensuring all tummies are full in a timely manner. I provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for pets during their visit.

Working directly with the Global Scholar's Program (GSP) Associate Director, my role includes assisting with curricular planning weekly, and asynchronous and synchronous instruction through Canvas. In class, I am responsible for facilitating intergroup dialogues, leading experiential learning activities, and ensuring students are retaining and learning concepts that are being discussed. Administratively, I am reponsible for grading and mentoring and providing feedback to individual students on their work and progress.

As a leasing consultant, my contributions include introducing prospective tenants to various apartment spaces and locations throughout Ann Arbor to assist finding them a place that satisfies their wants and needs in housing.Additionally, I assist management in discovering suitable tenants for the needs of each property and am a liaison between management and tenants with problem-solving and answering questions daily.Finally, I aid office responsibilities, currently through various marketing methods, to promote available units, fill spaces for current and future years, and assist in any other way for tenant or rental needs.

As a Resident Advisor, I created both active and passive events for residents to enhance their learning and awareness of resources on campus. I managed conflicts and supported growth for residents to take charge in their community. I also held meaningful conversations, encouraged, and challenged residents to engage with each other and practice maintaining self-care into their routines.On the administrative side of things, I assisted professional staff with applicant interviews and selection, attended weekly staff meetings and monthly one-on-one meetings with my supervisor to ensure I was on track with the goals I had set, and ran the Community Center which consisted of checking in and out packages, sorting mail, and assisting residents or parents with any community needs.

As a dialogue facilitator for the Intergroup Relations program, I provided methods and resources for students to think and create social change outside of school and in their communities. I lead peer-based classes which provided a space for students to foster curiosity, address conflicting views and ideas in a healthy manner, and explore their own identities while increasingly understanding those of their classmates.Additionally, I worked with instructors and co-facilitators to develop curriculum, manage grading, and address student’s questions or concerns that I did not know how to address on my own.

As an RRDA, I assisted patrons by answering questions pertaining to the law school and surrounding campus buildings. I managed ID checks for law students at scheduled times of the day, ensuring the reserved spaces for students were being enjoyed by law students. I also ran printer checks, restocked printing supplies in various building locations, and occasionally ensured classrooms and study rooms were unlocked for students’ meetings on the weekends.

Under the supervision of a lawyer for child neglect and abuse cases, I researched into case files to pull relevant information for hearings and attended those hearings. I attended home visits to check in on clients, keep track of their needs, and make their needs a reality through communication with social-workers or others. I drafted and edited briefs and letters to both families and the court and also stayed on top of scheduling with clients and communication with other interns. Additionally, I produced cross-examination questions for trial with another intern.

Under the supervision of NWF staff, I researched per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) effects on land and water animals, primarily deer and fish, throughout the Great Lakes region. The research was collected and sorted into word documents, excel sheets, and PDFs based on the type of animal, locations, and general information surrounding PFAS contaminates.

Through MYLead I mentor students to be young leaders through stepping outside of their comfort zone, debating about controversial topics, and widening their perspectives onto the world around them. I currently serve the Group Facilitator role where I oversee a group of incoming young leaders for the duration of the conference and ensure we make it to all scheduled events on time, am there as support, and ensure young leaders have a positive and warming conference experience.I have also held the position of Conference Alumni (CA) from 2015-2019.

As an SCA I was in charge of running the Community Center check-in for camps and conferences on North campus in the Baits II residence. I attended weekly staff meetings, bi-weekly one-on-ones with my supervisor, and communicated with other SCA's for scheduling, daily needs of the community, emergencies, and more. During the stay of camps and conferences, I built welcome packets which including making room keys and did community walks to ensure the safety of our residents at night.

As front manager, I oversaw and managed one dozen employees and daily operations from open to close.I was in charge of all front-house operations including customer satisfaction and problem-solving all issues. My responsibility included communicating between servers, staff, owners, and customer relations.As a waitress from 2013- 2015, I was responsible for direct service with families and customers onorders, drinks, and ice cream while keeping a lively and fun atmosphere for front staff and kitchen staff.
