The Financial Technology Club, abbreviated Fintech, focuses on the overlap of innovative technology with the finance sector. The club will discuss how finance and technology overlap and delve into job positions that utilize both of these fields. The Fintech industry is one of the newest and fastest-growing industries. In our club, we will provide students with an opportunity to learn about potential careers in the industry. The club will spread awareness to people about what Fintech is, its different uses and applications, and other topics provided by club members.

Sarah's Tasty Treats is a small baking business that I have opened to try and find a way to help my community combat food insecurity during the pandemic. I sell homemade baked goods such as specialty cakes, cookies, bars, and breads and donate my proceeds to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The Junior Venture Capitalist program is a selective program that teaches participants how to evaluate a business in the same manner a venture capitalist does to determine their investment worthiness. Participants learn real-life lessons by having access to the Fast Pitch finalists’ information, guidance on how to select investment-worthy businesses and are provided a $5,000 grant to award one of those businesses.
