As the Executive Director of Arctic Children and Youth Foundation (ACYF), I lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who work to improve the well-being and resilience of Indigenous children and youth in the Nunavut region. With over 7 years of experience in the non-profit sector, I have developed and implemented programs that address the challenges and opportunities faced by our communities, such as mental health, education, culture, and environment. I have also secured and managed multiple grants and donations from various sources, including government, corporate, and private donors, to support our mission and vision. My skills in program development, non-profit fund development, and non-profit leadership are complemented by my academic background and many formal training programs and certifications. I am driven by my values of relationship-building, respect, collaboration, and empowerment.
