I returned to Travis County's District Attorney's office. Specifically, I worked in the juvenile division. I did research projects and helped to sort through discovery. Notably, I obtained my student bar card and represented the State in juvenile detention hearings. This work consisted mainly of writing and presenting probable cause statements in Court.

As a Senate Messenger, my responsibility is to move messages efficiently throughout the Texas Capitol and extensions and to be alert and responsive during committee hearings and on the Senate Floor. The appeal of the position is in serving Senators and others who directly impact the state of Texas. It is also an opportunity to see the legislative process.
