Passionate about healthcare supply chain and working with diverse groups of people utilizing clinical knowledge to influence change along with delivering positive financial outcomes.My passion for nursing became evident to me in 2003 after suffering many stab wounds and spending time in the ICU. I talked to many of the nurses and decided that it was my calling as well. Throughout my schooling I was always so passionate about the care of mothers and babies. I joined the team at Children's WI first working in their emergency department. As I worked toward graduation I was selected to join the NICU team and jumped right on board. I grew into a strong, confident, leading nurse over my 10 years in the NICU. I took on roles such as car seat educator, epic super user, nurse preceptor, and nurse mentor. I was so intrigued by the everchanging population of babies that I cared for and the family dynamics that came with them. I worked with many new nurses and did a lot of training of new associates and decided that it was time to grow into more of a leadership role. This thirst for growth led me to The Resource Group. I was always the nurse that tried to save resources and money for the hospital by being a good steward and trying hard to trickle that down to the new associates. The Resource Group allowed me to dive into these projects head on to help the organization save money and have my efforts be measurable. My most recent accomplishments are as follows:-Implemented 22 national initiatives within the fore mentioned ministries resulting in approximately $453,500 and reaching a contract compliance level of 91% for FY2023. -Collaborated with the Implementation team and Ministry leaders to proactively identify and implement local savings initiatives, which resulted in $551,000 for FY2023. -Active member of the Wisconsin Woman and Family State team contributing to report out supply chain changes within the service line. Strengthen the relationship between The Resource Group and the leadership within the service line. -Supported capital purchases for the ministries equating to $191,000 through interactions with the ministry leaders and the Ascension Capital Team.
