The Georgia Cyber security Workforce Academy offers training for state and local government and private sector information security professionals at the Georgia Cyber Center.The state-of-the-art center spans 332,000 square feet in two adjacent buildings, the first of which – the Hull McKnight Building – opened July 10, 2018. The center features restricted access to meet classified and high-security needs, secure briefing space, a cutting-edge cyber range, a 340-seat auditorium for industry events, an incubator/accelerator program to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, ample spaces for collaboration, classrooms equipped for virtual and on-site training, an adjacent parking deck and direct access to the popular Augusta Riverwalk.

Instructs and develops curriculum in theoretical and practical application of network-based Cyberspace Operations for the Cyber Technical College, Cyber Center of Excellence.Instructs, designs, and develops curriculum utilizing programming with bash, python, and tcl for Cyberspace Operations Courses.Provides planning and validation of material in support of Army Cyberspace Operations Programs of Instructions (POI) to ensure the course meets the intent of the targeted audience.Provides Expertise in auditing the Cyber Common Technical Core (CCTC) training courseware to ensure objectives and requirements are being met.Works closely with force developers and training developers to ensure the curriculum is based on realistic and Cyberspace Operations and reflects the needs of the operational force.

Develops and evolves identity-based profiling, authentication, and authorization processes through Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)Plans, verifies and maintains networks in accordance with HIPAA, PCI, and FERPA regulations to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and audit compliance. Responsible for building upgrade and equipment refresh plans within budget constraints as well as coordinating with vendors to finalize the build of materials for acquisitions
