As a member of the Office of Digital Communications, an in-house digital agency, I produced research-backed content for the university’s flagship web presences. My responsibilities include:• Created and organized web content for nearly 20 of FIU’s public-facing web properties, such as college and department websites, as well as landing pages for events and marketing initiatives.• Conducted usability studies to enhance the user experience of FIU websites.• Created personas and journey maps that illuminate the user experience and inform product development.• Worked with the team in design sprints for larger projects.• Interviewed stakeholders to assess requirements of projects.• Managed content in the university's CMS, Hannon Hill Cascade.• Worked with developers to simplify the backend customization of the CMS for use by web content managers around the university.• Trained university web content managers in the CMS.• Performed aspects of accessibility and quality assurance.

I worked on the continuous news desk as a freelance online producer.
