I've been working in the service industry for four years. This position has provided with confidence in myself as someone who can approach anyone and begin a conversation. My goal as a server is to make my customer feel at ease and ensure they have a quality experience, one that will bring them back. As a shift leader I've been given the opportunity to work in collaboration with my peers to insure this type of experience for all customers. I feel I've gained valuable experience from my years in the restaurant industry as I've gained many invaluable lessons about the dynamics of an efficient workplace. I find communication to be one of my biggest strengths in the work place, allowing me to communicate efficiently with my team and our customer base. I believe leadership is a sacred responsibility.A leader should respect, admire, and view each of their followers as if they’re a well of opportunity.
