I serve as a member of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network Participant Engagement and Empowerment Resource (PEER) group, committed to advocate on behalf of UDN participant families. I am also proud to do community and patient engagement work for the Undiagnosed Diseases Network Foundation (UDNF).Finally, I am a medical case manager at Children's of Minnesota supporting women and children living with HIV and other chronic diseases.I have experience in navigating chronic, ultra-rare and undiagnosed diseases in systems that include family, medical and government, strategic planning, sustainability, legislative advocacy, patient education and direct patient support. Highly skilled in both written and verbal communication with a love for building relationships and community.Over the arc of my life, I've learned that both listening and storytelling are keys to connection, compassion and change. When we listen to others' stories, it offers us a compass of where to go and motivation to persist.
