The GMHBA Lorne Mountain to Surf Run is a family oriented run open to entrants of all ages. The 2000 entrants run an 8km fun run starting in Lorne and continuing through the forest and then along the Great Ocean Road and finishing at the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club.The run is a fund raiser for the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club and moneys raised are used to provide beach life saving services.My role in the event was as Race Director.
