In my role as Client Success Manager with PowerReviews I managed client relationships with our enterprise retail clients. I strategized with our clients on best practices for UGC collection and display to help with customer retention and expanded product sales. I helped clients create weekly reporting and conducted quarterly business reviews for them to showcase review metrics and site analytics to upper level executives.

With a passion for fashion, travel and design and a love of writing, I created SarahInStyle.com as a creative outlet for myself. I expanded my audience through thoughtful blog posts, SEO, and social media and as a result have partnered with many well-known brands to craft successful campaigns.

During my time at Cision and in my capacity as a consultant, I provided strategic guidance to PR professionals and publicists across diverse industries such as entertainment, retail, and fashion, aiding them in constructing robust media campaigns. This involved developing targeted media lists, meticulously crafting compelling press releases, and implementing a comprehensive system for tracking success and ROI through detailed reporting.In addition to my external consultancy, I undertook the responsibility of constructing and executing robust internal and external training programs. These initiatives were designed to enhance proficiency in utilizing essential tools like Cision and PRNewswire. Simultaneously, I effectively managed client relationships, serving as a crucial liaison between clients and internal contacts. My role was pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and fostering collaborative efforts to achieve shared objectives and client retention.

I spearheaded the creation of monthly newsletters for the vibrant local chapter of the international club, AACA, boasting over 100 members. In this role, I conducted insightful interviews with members, crafted thought-provoking articles, and strategically contributed to maintaining high member engagement and member retention rates. My dedication to producing compelling content played a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community within the organization, ultimately contributing to the growth of our membership numbers.

As an active member of the Chicago Junior League, I played a role in orchestrating both small and large-scale events dedicated to fundraising for our local philanthropies. I had the privilege of contributing to our flagship fundraising event of the year, Casino Night. This experience not only allowed me to leverage my organizational and event planning skills but also underscored my commitment to community service and philanthropy.

While interning I was able to learn from the full time staff, who wore many hats at this small boutique firm. I helped with influencer and celebrity outreach for product gifting, media list building, press release creation, media clipping and reporting as well as event planning. With a focus on lifestyle PR, in my time at Skirt we helped launch a major fashion brand, opened a large retail store in downtown Chicago, helped spread the word about an eco-friendly beauty brand and much more.

During this two semester internship, I acted as a main point of contact at St. John Student Parish and assisted with all aspects of communications and donor fundraising. My responsibilities included crafting creative materials such as the weekly mass bulletin, special event posters and flyers and press releases about student group activites. I conducted interviews with parish members (student and community) and worked with full time staff for any communications needs. I maintained our donor database and led organization of our largest fundraising gala and silent auction.

I served as an Executive Board Member from August 2005 to May 2009, holding roles as the Treasurer and Public Relations Chair. In my roles I maintained our financial records and dispersment of funds, helped craft any communications and press materials and planned our annual student fashion show. Our fashion shows were our largest fundraiser for the year and a way to showcase our designers talents, I managed the committee that sourced venues and decor, led model trainings and managed day off scheduling and backstage organization.

As a member of Gamma Phi Beta I built strong relationships among the MSU Greek Community and East Lansing residents. I participated in philanthropy and fundraising events and held mutliple positions within the house, such as Standards Chair, Alumni Relations and Social Chair.

Ele's Place is a special oasis for grieving children and their families. My main goals as an intern were to help with fundraising for the organization. I maintained our donor database and helped planned the annual 5K.
