I have recently graduated from Cal State Fullerton with two degrees, one in Sociology and the other in American Studies. These two disciplines have awarded me with an insight to the social structures of society, how it works within cultural and historical context, and a good grasp on people skills. In attaining these two degrees I am able to apply critical thinking, quantitative and qualitative research strategies, and professional writing skills to any job. While working to get my degree I have put myself through school by working in a fast pace restaurant and bar, this has taught me to work with every changing clientele, team work, communication, and multitasking.I have also worked as a fashion stylist on both on location shoots and studio shoots. This job has taught me attention to detail, fast pace environment, collaboration, and to create an over all aesthetic based on the clients wants and needs. On set, it is my duty to pull looks for models, help with set design and lighting, and make sure the final product is what everyone anticipated. I believe working while going to school helped me become a well rounded person, I have the skills it takes to keep on track with deadlines, time manage, be able to put in the hard work and the long hours, and make sure all work delivered is of the highest quality.
