About Sarah Sgro
After completing a master's degree in Performing Arts Administration at New York University including interning at New York Theatre Workshop and Brooklyn Academy of Music, I started working at Print Shop PR (formerly Matt Ross Public Relations). Exciting Broadway shows I've worked on are Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, What the Constitution Means to Me, Pass Over and Sweeney Todd! Some of my off-Broadway clients include New York Theatre Workshop, Clubbed Thumb, Classic Stage Company and The Sol Project. I left Print Shop in July 2024 to join the team at New York Public Radio and will continue to focus on cultural news as well as New York City-focused politics and breaking news.My work-related passions include increasing youth awareness of and participation in the arts, increasing accessibility to the arts, audience engagement and interaction.My non-work-related passions include music, reading, vinyl collecting, traveling and looking at corgi pictures on the internet.Completed Cours de Civilisation et Culture Française, Université de Paris IV- La Sorbonne in Spring 2012.
