Currently completing a scoping review evaluating how the interaction with psychedelics (e.g. LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, ketamine) impacts social cognition (e.g. empathy, prosocial behaviour, facial recognition) in mental illnesses (e.g. depression, anxiety, schizophrenia). Leading a team of 3 master’s and doctoral students in the process of selecting articles for inclusion in the study and extracting data.

Under Dr. Ingrid Johnsrude, coded all research tasks in the online site Gorilla, including a BSI test, GAD-7 Anxiety test, PSQI test, QIDS-SR test, and several vocab memory tests. Also imported several jspsych tasks into Gorilla. Attended weekly meetings and communicated any progress effectively, as well as replying to all emails promptly.

Worked under Dr. Michael Zappitelli. Completed training for Citrix, RedCap, Stata and ChartMaxx for the studies that I was a part of and underwent specialized instruction for privacy, respect and other guidelines that must be followed in hospital settings. Worked with and was responsible for data entry, chart obstruction, and chart review for this infant dialysis kidney study using ChartMaxx and RedCap. Also aided in data management and maintenance and assisted in the development of modifying the CRFs (the case report forms). Updated and regularly communicated with my immediate supervisor and the other members of my team during weekly meetings and over email concerning my progress and development.Drafted and created the newsletter for the patients and caregivers of the clinic, communicating the progress and aims of the study to all parents of the participants as well as giving an overview of the other research done by our lab. Was in constant communication with my supervisor on all tasks assigned to me and their progress. Brainstormed with the team at meetings to plan and discuss the progress of various projects that we were working on.

Performed data entry for thousands of documents in Excel accurately and quickly. Assessed documents for publication status and bibliographic information. Verified the accreditation of the information in the documents. Communicated issues to my superiors and found solutions to the issues raised.

Worked under Dr. Erin Kaufman. Interviewed and recruited potential participants, and organized and managed all lab social media. Administered verbal questionnaires over the phone to screen potential participants for signs of BPD and eligibility for the study. Also organized and participated in all lab meetings and communicated promptly and effectively through emails.
