My time at The Corner House was spent covering Management Maternity leave and I was responsible for the smooth, successful running of the restaurant/café/bar during my employment. There was a team of about 10-15 staff BOH and FOH. Covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and all spectrums of a coffee shop this position was a challenge! I learnt a lot about what I want from a job and how to encourage the most from myself and employees. A position arose in a business where I have been given more of an opportunity to learn and find the type of Manager that I would like to become, which is why I left this position.
