Collaboration with Vicki Roy at BQR Advertising on airport marketing projects initially began in the early 1990's when Paul Gaines was the Director of Aviation and Kathy Whitmire was the Mayor of Houston. We continue our collaboration today, rising to the challenge of a dynamic and ever changing aviation industry.

Delta Air Lines (2009-2013)Personally recuited by the SVP-Corporate Communications to spearhead department reorganization and align external and internal communication teams. Stepped in as interim PR Manager-Latin America for three or four months during the search for a permanent replacement. Supervised the work of half a dozen PR agencies in Latin America. Liaise with Marketing, Human Resources and other departments to cascade content internally and externally. Managed deployment of communications strategies for the 2012 Latin America Music Awards. Executed PR plans for several major rollouts, including the introduction of premium flatbed seats on international flights in Latin America. Authored content for the 2012 Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America Travel Guide.Other responsibilities:• Mentor media spokespersons and oversee consistent messaging.• Provide support (writing, editing, proofreading and posting content to intranet)• Provide support (writing , editing, proofreading, content development for Delta Daily) distributed daily to 80,000 employees around the globe.

Continental Airlines (2005-2009) Recruited back to Continental Airlines as a contract media spokesperson following the crash of Comair Flight 3407 to handle crisis communications; field daily media inquiries; develop content for press statements, news releases; and facilitate iterviews with subject matter experts. Developed consistent content/messaging for intranet site, employee magazine, newsletter, in-flight magazine, etc. Single-handedly revamped the airline’s Accident Communications Manual, working with various departments, following that accident.
