With an interest in vehicle design, propulsion methods, and systems engineering, Sarah is dedicated to advancing these fields through collaborative problem-solving and critical thinking.In addition to her academic pursuits, Sarah is actively involved in diverse hands-on experiences. She recently completed impactful internships at NASA Langley Research Center and Conn-Weld Industries, where she contributed to Mars mission design and advanced manufacturing processes, respectively. As an Undergraduate Researcher at E2E at Virginia Tech, Sarah is engaged in pioneering work on sustainable aerospike engines for supersonic vehicles. Sarah's leadership abilities are reflected in her various roles, including serving as Director of Operations for the Student Engineers Council at Virginia Tech and the Deputy Project Manager of Resources at L’Space Mission Concept Academy. Her leadership extends to roles such as a National Finalist in Future Business Leaders of America, where she excelled in public speaking and business leadership.Outside of her professional endeavors, Sarah enjoys rocketry, hiking, traveling, horseback riding, and volleyball. Her dedication to community and STEM outreach shines through her involvement in organizations like Rocketry at Virginia Tech and the Society of Women Engineers.
