About Sarah Walsh

Historian of the human sciences in Latin America currently working as a teaching fellow for the Roots of Contemporary Issues program at Washington State University. She was most recently a research fellow for the Colour of Labour project at the Universidade de Lisboa. Prior to that, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sydney. She received her doctorate in 2013 from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her doctoral research was conducted between 2010 and 2012 in Santiago, Chile with support from a Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant from the National Science Foundation.Specialties: Latin America, Race, History of Science, Global South/World History, History of Biology and Human Sciences, Women, Gender, and Sexuality, Spanish, Portuguese
