Previously held a Scheme Actuary certificate whilst working within the pension consulting field.At Mercer I built up 13 years experience in pension consultancy field working with clients (both trustee and corporates) to advise them on company sponsored pension schemes. Scheme sizes ranged from £10m to £1bn pension schemes.Currently working at the Pensions Regulator as Head of actuaries. I manage the resource and actuaries within the team to ensure adequate actuarial expertise is provided to both case management, policy (both DB and DC) and modelling of landscape risks. I also have a portfolio of cases I work on where the focus is on good outcomes for scheme funding, clearance and avoidance cases within DB.
