I’m Adam (He/Him). I’ve worked in the public sector since 2003 generally in investigative roles, and always around vulnerability and exploitation.I am an accredited counter fraud specialist and a certified SA8000 Social Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor. I am also level 3 vulnerable witness interview trained and currently a certified Inspector with The Pensions Regulator.I have over 20 years of experience of working with vulnerable communities, victims of exploitation crimes, victims of financial non-compliance and due-diligence neglect, victims of torture and victims of modern slavery.Latterly, I have expanded my skills into taking on investigating Automatic Enrolment pension non-compliance, and the challenges of undertaking to learn legislation and skills that are brand new to me.I have extensive experience of business engagement across the labour market and have inspected and audited employers from micro-micro, up to transnational level with the same degree of engagement and professionalism. I am as comfortable in high-level engagement with business professionals as I am with supporting vulnerable witnesses, managing hostile individuals, exploited workers and whistle-blowers.I also have extensive experience in stakeholder engagement in the public and private sectors and within the voluntary sector within the spheres of criminal investigation, civil compliance and victim support.I have a passion for, and a deep knowledge of UK employment law (including NMW/NLW) and its applications across the UK business landscape including its applications across supply chain networks and down to small business levels. Most importantly though, I am a married dad with two grown up children, who represent my greatest challenges, and my highest achievements.
