The Merrion is well known for its elegance, class and excellent service.• Organise private and corporate events for clients of the hotel including meetings and banquets• Liaise and meet with clients to plan the event including show around and presentations• Follow up on all enquiries via email and telephone• File all relevant contracts according to date and company (Manually and Computerised)• Brief the team on the upcoming events and ensure all requirements are met• Prepare and send contracts for all events using Opera (In-House CRM)• Communicate to all departments about the events using function sheets• Follow up with guest satisfaction survey I have executed events for a wide range of companies from Fashion events and shoots to include Brown Thomas & Basler to Television productions such as RTE & TV3. I have been dedicated from the inception right through to the roll out to ensure quality at every turn.
