About Sarah Key
“Because Memories Matter” is our motto at The Keys to Travel. I got into this industry and built a luxury travel agency because I believe the memories you create with loved ones from experiences while traveling is unmatched in any other capacity. I never really knew what I wanted to do when I grew up, but as I went through school and had more life experiences, everything kept pointing to travel. How could I combine my passion for travel, people, and independence, my work ethic, as well as my organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills into a career I truly loved? Hello, entrepreneurship! In 2018 I started The Keys to Travel, a luxury travel agency where we focus on helping couples, groups, and families create lifelong memories together through unique, luxury travel experiences. Some of my most favorite types of trips to help plan include: - Honeymoons and anniversaries- Multi-generational family vacations- Group incentive travel- Executive team retreats- Wellness and personal development retreatsIn 2023 I was awarded the “Next Generation Award” by my host travel agency, which is given to travel advisors who are highly engaged in the network, have $500k+ in sales, and who are under 40. What this award really means to me is that as my business grows, I continue to have the opportunity to help more travelers explore the world while creating unforgettable lifelong memories together. Besides my obsession with travel, I enjoy staying active with running, yoga, and hiking. Although I live in landlocked Colorado, the ocean is my happy place and I don’t think I’ll find anywhere else that brings me more peace. Painting with watercolors is a hobby I wish I made more time for. Being originally from Wisconsin, I won’t miss a Sunday Packer’s football game. Go Pack Go! But what brings me the most joy these days is being able to see the world through my son’s eyes as he continues to grow and learn new things every day.
