Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working.Application of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.Inspect and test the equipment and tools make sure they meet safety regulations.Communicate and co-ordinate with Client HSE Management and Project Team(Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen) on implementation of the Project HSE Plan.Identify work areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures.Make sure that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its plant, equipment and substances, as well as in all workplace activities.To conduct periodic checks of permit to work system as outlined in HSE plan.To carry out and conduct additional toolbox talks on new activities as and when the necessity arises.Setting up of emergency assembly areas and execution of the project emergency plan in case of emergency.Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on health and safety practices and legislation.Maintain all HSE documents, related to the project, update, and produce for any references or audit and coordinate with client.Report to Project Engineer and Client HSE Co-coordinator with accident / incident report, safe man hours, HSE inspection report, induction training records, toolbox talk’s records, mock drill plan & records and latest hazard and risk assessment in monthly / weekly basis as required.Recommends or demands necessary action or procedural changes to correct areas not in compliance with regulations
