The company was the brainchild of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah and is a leading manufacturer of superior quality; aesthetically designed Ceramic Glazed Wall & Floor Tiles marketed under the brand name “Fujairah Ceramics”.• Handling Imports, logistics & Supply Chain Management.• Processing of local & international purchase order in accordance with the bill of quantity and terms & conditions provided by the Production Engineers.• To ensure that materials are available at any given time to carry out the production process without any fail.• Sourcing Raw Materials for Ceramic Tiles production from different countries.• To ensure, the materials sourced in a cost effective manner.• Responsible for all expediting activities after PO placement, modifying and monitoring delivery schedules as per production requirements.• Arranging Duty Exemption, Legalization of documents in order to clear the shipments.• Responsible for all Import Shipments and Costing in ERP• Solicits / follow-up Quotations from the vendor through telephone and e-mail and interacts frequently to obtain prices and availability of merchandise.• Ensure that suppliers meet the schedule shipment date agreed on the Purchase order.• Coordinate with freight forwarders/courier.• Sorting out vendor payments issues.• Arrange for timely submission of invoices to finance department ensuring all invoice received are mapped with job delivery completion.

• Responsible for all clerical / administrative tasks for multi-divisional, multi-agency Procurement Department. • Processing of international purchase order in accordance with the bill of quantity and terms & conditions provided by the Projects & Procurement Engineers.• Processing of L/C’s & Amendments.• Handling imports, exports, transportation, logistics, Supply Chain Management.• Making purchase from Local & International markets like UK, USA, Europe and other countries.• Responsible for all IT related purchase.• Provides responsible clerical support to assist Regional Buyer Coordinator in the buying function, which includes creating and processing Request for Quotation and issuance of Purchase Order.• Solicits / follow-up Quotations from the vendor through telephone and e-mail and interacts frequently to obtain prices and availability of merchandise.• Coordinate with freight forwarders/courier.• Coordinate to End User to update the status of Purchase Requisition and ensuring the purchase orders are issued and delivery of orders meet the client requirement.• Preparing of purchase orders through ERP.• Sorting out vendor payments issues.• Recording & filing documents both in the computer and manually for Quality Assurance & Quality Control purpose.• Arrange for timely submission of invoices to finance department ensuring all invoice received are mapped with job delivery completion.• Ensure that suppliers meet the schedule shipment date agreed on the Purchase order.• In case of wrong deliveries, co-ordinates with buyer, end-user & vendor to get it replaced with the correct material.• Monitor vendor performance & reporting to the supervisor in time to time basis.• Responsible for the proper organization and maintenance of all procurement and contract files.
