I am in my third year at the University of Bath studying Chemistry with Management, and I am wanting to gain industrial experience, so I'm currently applying for a year in industry.I've worked for My Trauma Therapy for 6 months as a social media marketer to acquire traffic to their new app released in the App Stores. I also kept the social media platforms active by posting multiple times a day to gain a larger percentage of viewers to engage with the service.I was a student society leader for 6 months. my role included interviewing several FTSE 350 company Chief Executives on Zoom to understand how they got to their positions and how they entered the FinTech world. The interviews would then be posted to allow students to watch and learn the mindsets of different CEOs.In February 2020, I applied and landed a lucrative week-long placement with GSK to learn about all aspects of the pharmaceutical company from research and development to advertising and marketing through to the final product.Since the age of 16, I have always had a part-time job to allow me to become more independent and to learn time management. I've learnt strong soft skills from working in the hospitality industry which I can bring to any job I get in the future.
