Combining deep technical insight and sound business acumen, Sasi has created several R&D and Engineering Services Organisations during his career.As President of NeST Software, he led the transformation of this fledgling technology services company to a major provider of Engineering Services, catering to the R&D requirements of some of the world's leading Multinationals. A keen tracker of technology developments, Sasi Kumar is quick to assess their business impact, build the relevant competencies and offer them as a business proposition. At NeST, he spearheaded the company's foray into High Performance Computing, Algorithms development, GPGPU Computing, 4G Communications and VLSI Design.He was a founder employee of C-DAC, where he was a member of the core management team and a key contributor to the research, design and development of India's first Supercomputer - the PARAM. He held various responsibilities at C-DAC including the Project Management of the PARAM development, leading a Business Development team, and heading an independent software development and training centre. He rose to the position of Director and Member of the Project Board, the highest executive body of C-DAC.Prior to establishing Dexcel Electronics Designs for a global conglomerate, where he was its founder Managing Director and CEO, he was Vice President of NIIT’s Engineering Business Unit where he also set up an Engineering Design CentreSasi has extensive international exposure through a history of working with companies in USA, Europe and Japan.Specialties: Tracking & Analysing technology trends, transforming technology competence to sound business strategies & directions.
