Achievements Cargo Hold cleaning equipment - Designed a 3D model hold cleaning equipment using AUTO CADD software for increased efficacy and reduce time for cleaning the cargo hold. This project was acknowledged and appreciated by the CEO of the Organisation and referred to one of the manufacturing unit in China for further study and production. MAN B&W ME - B engine electrical circuit diagram - Created an integrated circuit diagram incorporating the actual location of circuit connections in the engine room to replace various ad hoc electrical circuit diagrams. This has enabled better understanding and easier troubleshooting of MAN B&W ME – B electronic engine electrical circuits.Deck crane – Created a comprehensive hydraulic circuit diagram using AUTO CADD, incorporating the working principle, actual location of various parts of the circuit with photographs for better understanding of the system and efficient trouble shooting. Engine room machinery – Created various machinery cross-section diagrams and piping diagrams with working principle.

Sailing and Electronic engine experience : Sailed as Chief Engineer for 18 months in various size vessels such as Panamax, Supermax and Handymax in Dry bulk fleet including log carrier vessels built with MAN B & W ME-C /ME-B electronic engine. Stand-In superintendent: The management / owner decided to take over thirteen ships within two months due to a shortage of superintendents, and in order to keep the promise to the owner, I was appointed stand-in superintendent in 2022 for the transition of ship management, which included underwater inspection, flag change, class inspection, radio inspection, change of ISM certificate , change of ship name, and implementation of Ship Safety Management System SMS and ABS Nautical science [ NS ] PMS system onboard.Deck Crane: As a Chief Engineer, in Electro - Hydraulic deck crane I performed major repairs on all four cranes restoring them to a good working condition. It involved replacing one complete set of slewing motor reduction gear, overhauling the hydraulic pump on all four cranes, testing and adjusting safety limits , and complete inspection of all four cranes.Drydocking: As a Chief Engineer, carried out vessel drydock and other surveys in China with remote support from the technical superintendent. coordinated with shipyard and class surveyor for main engine all bearings inspection ,cleaning and inspection of the air cooler , auxiliary blower motor overhauling and balancing , turbocharger overhauling and balancing .Stern tube oil seal renewal. coordinated with shore workshop for overhaul of Aux engine governor overhauling and Boiler mounting . And repair work in bunker fuel oil tank due to cracks in welding steam , removal of welding steam , rebuilt, NDT test and vacuum test on the welding steam.Final review of the work done report based on the actual work done by the shipyard in various departments , for negotiation of disputes in work done report for final approval by the owner.

Ballast water treatment system: Worked in JFE , Japan chemical treatment plant built with liquid and granule type chemical system and PANASIA UV treatment plant. Experience in major main propulsion engine and power generation plant overhauls like main bearing, cross head bearing renewal and inspection. Auxiliary engine main bearing inspection , Turbocharge and complete engine overhaul.Hydraulic deck machinery like Winches, Windlass maintenance, fault finding, overhaul and trouble shooting. In Hatch cover system overhauling the manual operating handle. As a chief engineer I have been associated with getting NIL deficiencies for the vessel in USCG and PSC (Paris MOU, TOKYO MOU) inspections, which demands high standards and conformance with IMO and local regulations for vessels plying in their respective territorial waters.Actively involved in continual improvement of the work environment and culture with respect to safety and commercial objectives.Inventory management of major and critical spares onboard and PMS of all machinery in ABS Nautical Systems [ NS ].

New built vessel delivery: As a Second Engineer, I have twice been involved in the delivery of new built vessels , including sea trials and other preliminary surveys.Management taken over vessel: Sailed as an overseer in the proceedings of a management takeover vessel, conducting vessel inspections, creating daily reports and involved in preliminary surveys including underwater inspection. I also have an experience of working within management takeover vessel team at a junior level. Main engine manoeuvring system: Managed the complete overhauling of all reversing cylinders and other important pneumatic valves in the MAN B&W MC -C engine manoeuvring circuit. Investigating and assessing the design fault of the Auxiliary engine Turbocharger turbine Lube Oil leakage and then supplying the manufacturer with an explanation of its source.Experience in main propulsion engine major overhauling involving linear renewal.
