Japan

I served as a Pilot in Command in the UC-35A in Atsugi NAF, Japan from 2020-2023. During my time, I transported distinguished visitors, to include Congressmen, Senators, and General Officers, to strategic locations across the world. I flew to 20 countries in the Middle East and Asian region while assigned in this position, all as a Pilot in Command. I have 980 hours in this asset, of which 560 are as a PC. International flying experience includes: Japan, RoK, Guam, Chuuk, Palau, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Singapore, Solomon Islands.

Japan

Commands the Headquarters & Headquarters Company, directly responsible for the readiness, training and welfare of over 75 active duty Soldiers, Department of the Army Civilians, host nation employees and commercial contracted employees. Oversees the Aircrew Training Program for the UC-35 Jet Detachment, an Operational Support Airlift (OSA) unit conducting missions throughout the PACOM theater and the world. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of 5 UH-60L helicopters, 3 UC-35A fixed wing jet aircraft, and more than 50 pieces of rolling stock and ground support equipment. Executes a flying hour program with over 2400 fixed wing hours and a budget in excess of $4 million. Provides support to the US Army Aviation Battalion Japan headquarters through command and control, aviation maintenance support, and OSA. Provides mission support to US Army Japan, US Army Pacific, Department of Defense, and government agencies in the Western Pacific and East/South Asia. Participates in bilateral and multilateral engagements throughout Asia.

Responsible for Human Resources actions for over 350 Soldiers at the Battalion level. Experience with award processing and personnel actions.

South Korea

I served as a Pilot in Command in the DASH7 in Korea, 2019-2020, conducting premier aerial reconnaissance for the US Army. I have approximately 500 hours, 125 of which are as a Pilot in Command.

Served as the company Executive Officer for over 60 Soldiers, Warrant Officers, and Officers. Responsible for the management of administration, maintenance, and logistics.

Served as the XO of B Co, 1-13th Army Aviation Regiment at Fort Rucker, AL. Company had over 150 Soldiers, to include the Commanding General of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Briefly on assumption of command during winter block leave. Organized unit holiday event for over 200 personnel.
