- Created an application that reduced the number of requests coming into the DevOps department for GitHub permissioning. Utilized subscribable events in Okta posted to a secure endpoint via webhook to automate updates to users and groups in GitHub- Developed both a proof-of-concept and final application for an identity management service mapping all the different services each employee uses in the organization. Created a Docker container for the database and used a Golang/SQL migration package. Wrote the terraform files to create an Amazon RDS database instance and Aurora cluster for the final application- Developed a secrets management application with diffing and audit capabilitiesUtilized helm to deploy to both staging and production environments in Argocd, as well as validated that both the DNS and SSL were working as intended. Configured the helm chart to run a daily cache sync cron job. Additionally configured a vault service account and mounted it. Set up a separate service to create a webhook for Github events and publish them onto a NATS queue, deployed this service to the staging environment utilizing Helm Charts, and used Terraform to configure Cloudflare for the external endpoint. Created in phase two of this build, an initial spec with all environment variables for an interface and their corresponding attributes in a YAML file. Created a gem in Ruby that loaded the spec file and validated those env vars as well as utilized TDD in Rspec- Developed a Mock Services, Identity Management application for creating mocks. Created an architectural reference for the service in LucidChart. Deployed the backend, frontend, and wrapper service using the Jenkins pipeline in both staging and production environments. Created a branch that stripped the service of all internal gems and infrastructure to prepare it for open sourceEdited the readme for up-to-date instructions on how to connect to the frontend and updated the ruby gems for the backend service
