Mrs. Brown is a dynamic expert in Government Procurement, specializing in certifications, registrations, proposal writing, marketing, and capabilities statements. She has successfully guided over 3,500 small businesses, contributing to nearly $1 billion in contracts awarded by local, state, and federal agencies. As a small business owner, she brings a practical, hands-on approach to counseling, focused on driving businesses toward success at every stage.Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help small business owners create better lives for their families and employees through government contracting.Mrs. Brown's academic background is distinguished. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship in 2018, followed by an MBA from Ashford University in 2019. Her academic honors include memberships in Sigma Beta Delta, Golden Key, and Alpha Sigma Lambda, along with the Forbes School of Business and Technology Entrepreneurship Scholarship. She also holds certifications as a Small Business Consultant, Kauffman FastTrac Facilitator, and Technology Commercialization Advisor.Her dedication to the small business community has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2018 SBA District Director’s Award for Mission Support, 2012 ASBDC State Star for the San Diego & Imperial SBDC Network, and the 2010 SBA Women in Business Champion. She has been recognized by Assemblymembers, Senators, Members of Congress, and San Diego County Supervisors.In 2023, Mrs. Brown took on a new role as Director of the North San Diego SBDC Center at MiraCosta College. She also owns two small businesses—a consulting firm and a family-run carpet and upholstery cleaning company with her husband and four sons, ages 30, 26, 20, and 8. Additionally, she serves as a PTO Executive Board Member at her youngest son's school, contributing her leadership skills to the school community.When she finds time to unwind, Mrs. Brown enjoys cooking, reorganizing, or cleaning in her kitchen, all while listening to country music. Her passion for helping small businesses and her dedication to her family make her a true advocate for the small business community.
