LearnPlatform by Instructure offers a comprehensive edtech management and rapid-cycle evaluation system that allows K-12 educators and administrators to organize, streamline and analyze their classroom technology to improve instructional, operational, and financial decisions. As a senior researcher on their research team, I provide support related to research and evaluation methodology and design; conduct quantitative analyses (e.g., propensity score matching, regression, ANCOVA) in response to the needs of school districts and providers of education interventions; analyze survey data from students, parents, educators, and administrators; brainstorm and collaborate on new product offerings; and author accessible reports and presentations for non-technical audiences.

- Primary contributing data analyst and author for "IMPACT Data Trends - Equity and Mitigating Implicit Bias" (DCPS, August 2021) which examined and identified implicit bias within the staff evaluation system at DCPS- Manager of the Teacher Assessed Student Achievement Data (TAS, or teacher-created student learning goals) evaluation component of IMPACT.- Joint lead on equity data analyses for the IMPACT team as well as all other analysis of IMPACT staff evaluation data.- Joint manager of external research partnerships with the University of Virginia, American University, and the University of Maryland, as well as internal DCPS teams.- Manager of the Urban Education Leaders Internship Program (UELIP) on the IMPACT team.- Joint lead on other major components of IMPACT, particularly Student Surveys of Practice and Individual Value-Added components, through data analysis, policy planning, and school operational support.- Supported all other components of IMPACT including jointly managing an external helpline and inbox supporting 8,000+ school-based staff and 300+ school leaders across the district.- Presenter at the Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., discussing IMPACT and its relationship to teachers of second languages.

- Author of a policy brief on how the impact of violence, abuse and exploitation on children in the U.S. is relevant and in alignment with the U.N. 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, within the context of Childfund’s operations in Jackson, MS, and in cooperation with their director of U.S. programs.

- Manager of a school of 118 students across grades K-4, a team 7 teachers, and over 100 community volunteers.- Manager of BECA’s on-the-ground finances for a team of 27 teachers and administrators including daily expense tracking, budget forecasting, and submitting monthly accounts to the Executive Director and Treasurer in the US.- Managed and maintained a tiered work-scholarship program with 100 families which subsidized the costs of their children’s enrollment. This program increased school revenue and promoted community involvement while maintaining financial affordability for every family.- Oversaw the expansion of school enrollment by 27% from the 2012-13 academic year.- Coordinated event, travel, and meeting logistics.- Oversaw the establishment of first computer and library programs at the school.- Designed and introduced increased security and child safeguarding measures at the school.- Designed and implemented a unique lottery system of kindergarten matriculation based on unique local security concerns.
