*** Mission: To operate and maintain a Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGTE) facility using safe operating practices and in a manner which meets environmental regulations while optimizing the financial results of the project*** Responsibilities: - Perform equipment inspections, test and operational checks. - Perform data collection and reporting of continuous emissions, carbon credit and greenhouse gases.- Investigate mechanical and electrical problems; recommend appropriate repair, replacement and enhancements - Provide assistance and/or direction during major maintenance activities; support, assist and direct the work of contractors on-site.- Implement and maintain the facility's Safety Procedures Manual and Job Site Conduct Book.- Perform and record monthly safety audits and inspections as identified in site safety manuals.- Prepare reports on results and performance metrics in the operation, inspection and maintenance of the LFGTE facility.- Maintain facility logbooks highlighting activities and noteworthy events. Record operating data and maintain operating records including weekly production reports.- Review monthly operating expenses and explain any variance to the budget.- Deliver monthly reports regarding results of plant operating performance and operating expenses; forecast EOY production and operating expense.- Prepare annual operating budget and forecasts- Provide professional representation of DTEBE to landfill host, customer, regulators, etc…

Managed the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program onboard a Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier. Responsible for the continuous process improvement of shipboard maintenance and training. During Ship maintenance availabilities responsible for planning, scheduling and execution of work associated with the timely completion of the project. - Project Manager for 110,000 Man-Hour intensive Maintenance Availability. Worked in close collaboration with 5 Shipyard organizations to plan and execute a $200 Million maintenance availability. Developed maintenance and testing plan that incorporated 582 Baseline preventive items and more that 1200 system upgrades. - Lead Planner directly responsible for the development of over 200 quality controlled work packages and the acquisition and inspection of all quality controlled material.- Developed and implemented a rigorous Audits and Surveillance program that tracked quality control discrepancies which resulted in Zero Discrepancies during the most recent Type Commander Inspection.- Mentored new Sailors to familiarize them with the current Shipyard Project Management methodologies.- Awarded and Navy Commendation Medal for Management of Quality Assurance and Project Planning.

Provided in-depth technical oversight for 5 Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carriers. This oversight included technical support for maintenance, plant operations, and technical review of all maintenance certification documents and plant operating logs.- Primary Coordinator for all CVN Fleet nuclear maintenance and operating instruction changes. Personally responsible for 375 changes to 12 volumes of Operations and Technical Manuals directly enhancing fleet operations.- Influenced Senior Enlisted leadership for years to come by development the maintenance Availability portion of the new Nuclear LCPO Leadership Course.- Led the implementation of a new Navy Wide philosophy in the operations of Nuclear System Valves to include modification to the Valve Technical Manuals and the Navy’s Qualification Standard. These efforts directly impacted 2,000 sailor qualifications and certifications. Awarded Navy Commendation Medal for these efforts.

Lead approximately 30 nuclear and non-nuclear trained mechanical maintenance technicians in the proper maintenance, upkeep and operations of Reactor Plant Auxiliary support systems, Main Propulsion and Auxiliary Turbines, Seawater Cooling Systems, Compressed Air Systems and Fresh Water Distilling Plants.- Managed programs for Corrosion Prevention, Material History, Gage and instrument Calibration and Oily Waste Abatement.- Lead several highly complex, highly visible maintenance evolutions – including the change out of Mix Resin Bed of a Water Treatment System, during the first ever at sea replacement of a closed coupled pump, .Testing of Boiler Safety Valves- Awarded a Navy Achievement Medal for exceptional leadership skills and program management.
