Provide leadership and direction within the geographic region of the US, Caribbean and Latin America to location based IT Managers to ensure successful planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions within each supported location. This includes directing all IT operations to meeting customer requirements as well as support and maintenance of the existing compute environment as well as development of new technical solutions. Key elements of my role include:• Supervisory responsibility of approximately nine IT Managers and fifty five technical staff. • Oversight of location based IT budgets totaling approximately $50M USD, with focus on EBITA, via management and support of the financial performance of the IT function as a whole.• Manage relationship with internal and external customers, including change management, account planning and development of key relationships to lead to follow-on work.• Planning and coordination of resources necessary for preparation of major strategic proposals.• Support of business development, with emphasis on communication, and implementation of regionally based vision and strategy to build and brand the business in specific markets.• Work with the business to ensure alignment with IT based services, policies, as well as any applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.• Provide advice on project pursuits, and commercial terms on contract negotiations, around IT based products and services.

Provided strict budget oversight for this multi-million dollar IT organization, acting as a senior liaison between the Information Technology group and the U.S. Western Operations Business. Directed infrastructure and support groups, including desk-side support, network and server/engineering and application support, database administration and asset and project management. Researched and created essential disaster recovery/business continuity plan. Sourced and implemented Best Practices service levels for all Western Operations personnel. Identified and overcame significant infrastructure performance issues, despite considerable financial restraints.
