My area of passion is educating people with special needs. I want them to be as independent as possible. Second to that is training and helping adults to be their personal best. I have my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. I have a Bachelor of the Arts in Special Education and Masters of Education in Instructional Design focused on the ADDIE Model from Western Governors University. I am certified in the state of Florida for K-12 special education, K-6 Elementary Education, Reading K-12, Autism Endorsed, and English for Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) Endorse.. My work experience ranges from Pre-K to post-school adults (18-22 years old). As well, I have multiple years of experience in the service, retail/business, and customer service industries. I am well-rounded in technologies used by students with disabilities. I have experience with American Sign Language, Braille, and Spanish. I enjoy helping other teachers adapt their skills for special needs students. I want to progress my career to work with adults and help train teachers or employees in the private sector. My professional philosophy in education and as a leader is to ensure that everyone is happy and successful, but above all else we are human first.
