The IMSC legal office supports an intermediate-level headquarters responsible for providing installation and mission support capabilities to 83 Air Force and Space Force installations, nine major commands, three field commands, and two direct reporting units with an annual budget of approximately $10 billion. One of six centers assigned to Air Force Materiel Command, the unit’s cross-functional team integrates security forces, civil engineering, base communications, logistics readiness, installation ministry programs, services, operational acquisition and financial management across nine detachments and four subordinate centers. Those centers are the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Air Force Installation Contracting Center, Air Force Security Forces Center, and Air Force Services Center.

Provided reach back support to legal offices worldwide for over 1000 matters with a combined contract value of $49B. Increased training and outreach mission by 400%. The Contract Law Field Support Center leverages proactive problem prevention in providing full-spectrum contract and fiscal law expertise to commanders and judge advocates in the field in order to maximize their understanding and employment of procurement tools and processes in support of Air Force and Space Force operations.

Support to 4-star commander and staff responsible for the eight Air Force bomber and intercontinental ballistic missile installations–encompassing two legs of the nuclear triad. Supported award of $668M contract for global Air Force rotary wing aircraft maintenance. Command legal counselor for government ethics and compliance, and responsible for supporting environmental, real property/land use, civil law matters, labor & employment law, contract law and national security law.

Led a combined joint legal team to support 2-star command in executing defeat-Daesh (ISIS) operations in Iraq and Syria.

Barksdale Afb, Louisiana

General Counsel for Barksdale AFB. Led largest legal office in Air Force Global Strike Command. The 2d Bomb Wing is the largest bomb wing in Air Force Global Strike Command and part of the historic 8th Air Force. More than 8,500 active-duty, Air Force Reserve members and civilians make up Barksdale's workforce. About 26 B-52 Stratofortress aircraft are also assigned to the wing. He directly advised senior leaders, and supervised the provision of legal advice, on government ethics, criminallaw, investigations, labor/employment law, environmental law and government contracts.

- Developed policy & implemented measures affecting >250K Legal Assistance (LA) clients annually; manages & improves LA IT systems.- On behalf of TJAG, supervised LA programs at all AF bases; provided advice on preventive law/community issues.- Identified training requirements for 2000+ Active-Duty, Reserve Component & civilian attorneys; provided guidance & practice resources to field. Wrote the policy and developed the training for the first ever LA annual training requirement for the AF JAGC.- Acted as legal assistance liaison with DoD, other Military Services, American Bar Association LAMP Committee & IRS.

- Teaches, directs, develops curriculum for 32 AFJAGS courses attended by more than 2,500 resident students yearly.- Lectures and leads seminars for 15,000+ students at AWC, ACSC, SOS, the SNCO Academy & other AU schools.- Editor for all AFJAGS professional publications: Mil CC & the Law, AF Law Review, The Reporter, Year in Review. Editor in Chief for Volume 65 of the AF Law Review. Co-Editor in Chief for the first Cyberlaw edition of the AF Law Review, Volume 64.- Manages AFJAGS e-learning initiatives, develops AFJAGS leadership curriculum, and directs TJAGC webcast training.- Acted as the AF Chief of Legal Assistance and then helped transition that mission from AFJAGS to AFLOA/JACA. Managed worldwide AF legal assistance mission; liaison w/ OSD, Army, Navy, & Marines on policy & legislation.

Goodfellow Air Force Base

In absence of Staff Judge Advocate responsible for management of legal office that included 3 other judge advocates, 5 paralegals, 3 civilian personnel, and primary legal advisor to Wing Commander. Designated Agency Ethics Advisor, practiced Environmental law, Labor law, Government Contract law, personal civil legal assistance.

Shaw Afb, Goodfellow Afb

Over 3 years moved through several different positions. Practiced in Government Contracts; Employment Law; Military Prosecution; Administrative Law; Personal Civil Legal Assistance.
