Provided direction and training for the Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection of all the U.S. Naval Assets of Third Fleets command, enhancing methods and procedures of the training teams thus improving the ship’s efficiency in war fighting tactics.Evaluate ships Anti-Terrorism Training Team personnel ability to train their ship in force protection, ensuring strict adherence to Navy instruction and guidelines, to determine if the ship will be certified in this specific warfare area.

Supervised the maintenance and training for all Weapon Systems Technicians (Approx. 12) ensuring that weapon systems were maintained at 100% operability. As well, scheduled and ensured the completion of approx. 8,320 man hours for 4 major weapon systems and various small arms per. quarter.Small Arms Instructor - Program manager for Weapons training, statistical data collection and analysis, curriculum development, and ammo accountability. As well, designed, built and implemented a ship board small arms range to conduct US NAVY courses of fire to maintain qualifications while underway.Anti-Terrorism Training Supervisor - Program manager and Anti-Terrorism Officer. Conducted the training for over 250 personnel in Non-Leathal weapons, weapon tactical employment, security team training. Contributed extensive time and effort in support of Basic Fire fighting and Small Arms weapons training to new recruits.Qualified as a Master Training Specialist.Qualified as Basic Emergency Medical Technician, and developed a medical program to treat basic injuries at RTC’s weapons range for live fire. Increasing turn-around time for recruits in the training pipeline and reducing man hours for RTC’s Naval Hospital.Created Statistical data base for the Chief of Naval Operations, tracking the qualifications of over 800 recruits daily on small arms live fire operations and training.

Proved to be a superb technician, key in scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance on the Close in Weapon System (CIWS) and 25MM Chain Gun. Command earned the CIWS excellence award 5yrs in a row from Pacific Fleet Command.Expert Trouble shooting skills, led to the timely corrections of major casualties. Consistently asked by other Commands to assist in the troubleshooting of their systems. Worked with technical representatives during several installations of system upgrades, resulting in the ability to complete depot level repairs onsite.
