KEY DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES -Senior Desktop Support:• Installation and maintenance of workstations and printers, including hardware and software upgrades.• All new PC equipment specified, ordered and delivered within agreed service levels.• Software upgrades performed in line with user and project requirements, subject to licensing agreements• Knowledge of the desktop build process and software delivery mechanisms.• Testing and documenting of standards based efficient, repeatable build for desktops and laptops.• All changes required by new projects or approved by the Production Services Manager to be effected in the agreed timeframes.• Software licensing requirements complied with at all times.• Creation and maintenance of user profiles. User profiles created in accordance with security policy and within customers required timeframesCustomer Service Liaison:• Provide second level support to internal and external customers in order to analyse and solve their computer problems as rapidly and effectively as possible.• Liaise with service desk, engineering services and change management teams as required to resolve incidents and problems.• All incidents logged as service desk calls.• All calls closed to customer’s satisfaction as quickly and effectively as possible, with regular updates provided during resolution of long calls.• Exceptional support provided to remote users in order to ensure rapid resolution of connectivity problems.• Deliver a high standard of customer service through polite and timely communication to all parties involved in the resolution of a problem.• All customer communication requirements managed through IT customer service team.• Administer, monitor, and support desktop and mobile infrastructure components (software and hardware) for which responsibility has been assigned.• Compliance with regular reporting requirements as defined by line management.

Roles & Responsibilities:- Imaging Laptops and desktops.- Raising incidents in the IT management system.- Resolving first level support calls and tickets.- Completing desk-side on-site support.- Managing asset inventory.- Fixing hardware connectivity issues by installing drivers.- logging requests into the service management system.- PC setups: windows, Microsoȅ Office, Anti-Virus and hardware drivers.- Responding to allocated requests.- Troubleshooting issues with servers, desktops, laptops, printers, personal- devices, networks, and audiovisual equipment.Key outcomes:- Achieving a high rate of completion of jobs in a timely manner.- Re-imaging 1500 laptops and installing new hardware into these laptops to roll out within the company.
