I am an industrial/manufacturing professional with experience and success in many areas of manufacturing business. I most recently worked in a dual role capacity for a glass processing facility. As Materials Manager, I focused on reducing cost of goods sold by managing the activities in production planning, procurement, and inventory control. As Project Manager, I initiated and managed process improvement projects that improved costs and quality by use of robotics and other automation.In addition to career related activities, I also am devoted to self-improvement. Some people would call me a "gym rat" since that is how my day starts 4 days a week. More recently, I've added hiking and biking to the physical activities that I enjoy frequently. The terrain where I live in WV really lends itself well to those activities. Experiencing different geographical areas and cultures is something else that I never get enough of. Europe and the Caribbean are the area outside of the US that I have traveled most, although I also have several places domestically that I am hoping to see.
