As Jigsaw's policy director I coordinate all engagement with internal and external stakeholders of Jigsaw's R&D and product portfolio working across Google's and YouTube's Global Policy and Trust and Safety teams. In addition, as a senior member of Jigsaw's leadership, I am responsible for developing and implementing efforts to build a global network of relationships with governmental, non-governmental and academic institutions around the world to amplify and inform the team's work.

As managing director of Jigsaw, I oversee the entire product portfolio of the Jigsaw team on a day-to-day basis. This includes running the product management team while liaising with our head of engineering as well as cross-functional teams within Google and in other subsidiaries of Alphabet. My role is to help set and maintain team priorities while determining new product opportunities. Consistent with my past experience, I also maintain responsibility for building and maintaining internal and external partnerships in support of our mission.

Directed Project Fikra, a multidisciplinary research program designed to advance policies of the United States government to empower Arab democrats in their efforts to confront the dual challenges of religious extremism and authoritarian government.

This includes product management oversight, liaising with our senior engineering and cross-functional management teams; determining new product opportunities, and; building and maintaining external partnerships in support of the overall moonshot.
