Responsible for all forest and harveting operations for the Northern South Island Region. Responsible for growth strategy of this region. Coordinate new work development for the region. PF Olsen has expanded harvest volumes in the top half of the South Island from 150,000 tonnes per annum to over 600,000 tonnes per annum.Overall responsibility for ensuring all harvesting performance criteria are met, including health and safety standards, environmental, quality, and maximising net stumpage from client harvesting.

Project management for establishment of $2 million green-fields log treatment facility at Marsden Point. Responsible for complete start up including recruiting staff, establishing service and supply contracts, which saw the facility achieve a cash positive position in its first year of operation. Marketing of 100,000 tonnes annual log supply from forest owners forests in Northland, South Auckland and Coromandel. Responsible for both domestic and export marketing. Volume acquisition through stumpage purchasing and at-wharf-gate log purchasing from external log suppliers.

Forestry based in Whangarei. Responsible for budgeting, reporting cost control and management of forest operations for Mangakahia Forest Ltd. (Shell/CHH JV)Team Leader CHH Value Recovery Group. Cutting strategy. Implementation of anti-sapstain best management practices, researched fibre recovery and fuel conversion, reviewed methods to reduce log waste and log downgrade.National Manager Forest Health and Nutrition. Responsible for forest health team for CHH national forest estate.Wood flow co-ordination of 60 harvesting crews in Kinleith working circle.Extensive supervision of all forest operations.
