Analyzed the existing steel connections and made recommendations for replacement and/or modification as required. Fort Lauderdale In-Line Baggage Handling Improvements, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Assisted in the modeling, analysis, and design of a baggage handling system for Terminal 1 of the Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Modeled the existing airport hangars as well as the proposed handling systems with SAP2000, while analyzing the results with Excel spreadsheets as well as hand calculation of structural capacity in accordance with the American Society of Civil Engineer (ASCE) 7-05 Building Codes.Logan Airport Terminal E, Boston, MA. Responsible for analyzing the capability of the existing structure to support the hanging of a baggage handling system. The analysis was completed using SAP2000 software. Analyzed existing structure utilizing SAP2000 and hand calculations to verify that proposed additions would not overstress the structure. Designed structural members for new terminal addition for Atlantic City International Airport. Analysis included the analysis and design of composite steel members, and verification of all vertical and lateral forces in accordance with ASCE 7-05. Analyzed and designed all of the steel and concrete structural elements of the North Headhouse, South Headhouse, and South Entrance for station.
