Scott's appointment to the position of President of the Gerber Investment Group in 2010 marked the beginning of a new era of success for the Group. Since then, Scott has demonstrated exceptional leadership, successfully managing and controlling the assets for the Gerber family Trust and it's Foundation. His expertise and experience in Real Estate Management, Investing, and Financial Planning spanning over thirty years, have been instrumental in his success. Scott currently oversees all assets for both the Trust and Foundation, including all activities and presenting any new investment opportunities and grant requests directly to the Board of Directors of the Group. His responsibilities recently was extend beyond the United States, as he now oversees all current assets and investments internationally. Scott's remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to the Gerber Investment Group have made him an outstanding President, and his contributions continue to inspire and motivate the Group to reach new heights of success.

Scott has been a dedicated educator, providing hands-on instruction to students of all age groups throughout the State of Florida. His overall teaching style and approach of being calm and patient with his students has earned him high marks with his students. Scott's high success rate and positive reviews by past students have made him highly regarded in the industry. He sees his role with his students as more of a Coach and Cheerleader rather than just an Instructor, and his approach has proven successful, with his students achieving a success rate of over 98% on passing the State Road Testing requirements the first time through testing. Due to his exceptional skills, Scott was requested to provide all new Instructors within his division with on-the-job training and skills to be successful at AFSI. He continued to receive high reviews from his students and referrals for new students until his departure from AFSI in December of 2022.

Scott has been involved in Emergency Medical Services since 1983, starting as a Paramedic and Regional Director for Saginaw Mercy Ambulance Service. Following the merger of Saginaw Mercy and EMS of Saginaw in September of 1994, Scott was selected and accepted the role of Vice President of Operations at Mobile Medical Response, Inc. (MMR), a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Scott worked diligently with his team to expand MMR's geographic footprint throughout the State of Michigan and to increase the overall medical scope of practice of EMS Providers throughout the State of Michigan. He oversaw a staff of 500 highly skilled and trained professionals in their field. Under his leadership, MMR established the "Gold Standard" in quality care and operational excellence in the ambulance industry, receiving National Accreditation shortly after its beginning. Scott also served as a Board Member on the Michigan Association of Ambulance Services until his retirement. In recognition of his advancements of Michigan Rural Emergency Medical Services, Scott was awarded a Congressional Tribute by the United States Congress on February 14, 2002, presented by United States Congressman James A. Barcia. By the time of his retirement in 2010, Mobile Medical Response, Inc. was considered one of the leading EMS providers in the entire State of Michigan, covering more square miles than any other EMS provider.
