From a DeVry Institute of Technology graduate and IT newbie to a Director overseeing sales systems used by roughly 1,000 people at a large consumer goods company, I have always worked to bring the best computer solution to internal business departments and to external customers. My IT and business knowledge and expertise has enabled me to fill the gap that is missing in many companies. Being "bilingual" has enabled me to guide IT in understanding the business requirements and to ensure the business side understood the technical solution which ultimately produced an effective product that moved the company forward. In my most recent role as the Director, Sales Information for ITG Brands, I led a team that was responsible for the systems used by Field Sales. I was the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for these systems and was regularly consulted about their current capabilities, future enhancements and impact on other systems. As a trusted advisor, I directed IT on new business requirements and saw these changes through testing and implementation, all while keeping the business side and the end users informed.My career includes 7 years as a Director and 13 years as a Manager in the business overseeing the computer systems used by Field Sales, along with 15 years as an IT technical professional.I am also an Actor that is currently working with Creative Journeys Unlimited to present the play "12 Angry Men". My past dramatic experience includes acting and directing as a member of the Good News Players and the Carolina Skyline Players. I have performed in numerous skits and dinner theatres, written a number of skits and also wrote and directed a Christmas dinner theatre play.
