My 30 years of service in the Army shaped me into the person I am today. The Army instilled its core values, its ethics, and its leadership traits that will carry me into the future and serve me well in program and project management and operations. I am proud of my military service, and I was blessed with many great opportunities to lead men and women in uniform over the past three decades and I look forward to the start of the next chapter. Highlights of my career include four combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as an infantry officer and paratrooper with service at the tactical level through the strategic level. I have also had the honor of serving as the commander of a 4,400-person infantry brigade combat team whose mission was to train and prepare for short notice global deployments in support of U.S. national policy objectives. I am married to the most wonderful woman in the world who was able to support me as an Army Infantry officer while maintaining her own professional career and raising our son, who is pursuing a degree in medicine, and caring for our beloved Dachshunds. A firm believer of strong character and honorable conduct, I live by the positive values instilled in me by the Army – with Loyalty, Duty, Integrity at the top of the list. I treat others with dignity and respect and take pride in being a positive influence in all aspects of life. I value overall well-being and resiliency through physical fitness, emotional stability, and spiritual strength.Clifton StrengthsConsistency: A consistent environment with balance and routine are essential to productivity and satisfaction.Harmony: Seeking areas of agreement and building in consensus is how large and diverse organizations get things done.Competition: Healthy competition drives organizations and individuals to improve and perform better.Significance: Significance inspires excellence and maintains relevance. Restorative: Adept at problem solving, good at figuring out what is wrong and resolving it.
