Oversees the development and execution of the school's academic program and program of instruction. Leads the promulgation and publication of Inspector General policy and doctrine for the Department of the Army Inspector General and supports over 1700 Inspectors General worldwide. Coaches and provides the professional development of all faculty and staff. Special emphasis on the education of Command Inspectors General and IG Senior Enlisted Leaders.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, KY. Assisted the Chief of Staff in the direction of nineteen staff sections and provided staff oversight of Fort Campbell Garrison activities. Assisted in the execution of all operational, administrative and financial actions of the Division with a budget of over $154 million. Served as the primary point of contact between the command and critical organizations outside of the Division. Provided oversight for the Senior Commander's high priority projects. Provided written reports to the commander and outside agencies. Directly supervised and made recommendations for Strategic Outreach operations IAW the Division Campaign plan and CG priorities.

Joint Command Inspector General for United States Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) in support of all joint assigned, attached, OPCON, TACON units, DoD Civilians, and DoD contract personnel in Afghanistan. Responsible for all IG functions within the Commanding General's sphere of activity. Served as personal staff officer to the USFOR-A Commanding General (CG), providing verbal and written reports as needed. Conducted multiple special inspections based on CG's priorities and DoD directives. Provided area assistance and conducted investigations within USFOR-A units. Supported external audits from DoD agencies. Identified systemic problems and recommended corrective actions to the appropriate command and/or proponent level.

Command Inspector General for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell community in support of all assigned and tenant units, comprised of 9 brigade-level task forces. Additionally served forward deployed as the Joint Command Inspector General for the Combined Joint Forces Land Component Command-Operation Inherent Resolve, supporting services from multiple services and 18 different nations. Responsible for all IG functions within the Commanding General's sphere of activity. Responsible for 15 military and civilian personnel. Served as personal staff officer to Commanding General (CG), providing verbal and written reports as needed. Provided operational oversight of the Division's Organizational Inspection Program. Conducted nine special inspections based on CG's priorities. Provided area assistance and conducted investigations within Divisional units. Supported nine external audits from DoD and other agencies. Identified systemic problems via both the inspections process and trend analysis and recommended corrective actions to the appropriate command and/or proponent level.

Responsible for ensuring the deployment and combat readiness of the Brigade through support to the commander’s development and execution of rigorous training, maintenance, and Soldier support programs; for maintaining the high state of physical fitness, discipline, trust, morale, and esprit de corps essential to mission accomplishment; and for managing resources to accomplish the aforementioned tasks. Planned and allocated resources to maintain operational readiness. Developed policies, procedures, and systems to take care of Soldiers and their Families. Served as a team player who led by example and set tough, realistic standards to maintain a combat ready force.

Commander of an Air Assault Infantry Battalion of over 800 Soldiers prepared to deploy world-wide, fight, and win on any battlefield. Commanded three rifle companies, a heavy weapons company, a forward support company, and a headquarters company. Responsible for the deployment and combat readiness of the battalion through the development and execution of rigorous training, maintenance, and Soldier support programs that achieve and maintain a high state of physical fitness, discipline, morale, esprit de corps, and mission accomplishment. Responsible for managing by accounting, securing, maintaining, and prioritizing the allocation of resources to accomplish these tasks. Deployed this formation in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from May 2013 to Jan 2014.
