I am a passionate physicist with a strong background in superconducting quantum device physics. Recently awarded a PhD from Cardiff University, I specialise in the development of superconducting devices, with a focus on the use of boron-doped nanocrystalline diamond as a novel material for this technology. My research has been published in high-impact factor journals, showcasing my contributions to the field.My expertise extends to nanofabrication, device development, process optimisation and data analysis. I have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining dilution refrigerators, enabling the testing of devices at ultra-low temperatures. Additionally, my technical skills include proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and LabVIEW, which I have leveraged to create tailored measurement systems and control software.Throughout my academic journey, I have actively contributed to the scientific community by assisting undergraduate physics labs and mentoring fellow PhD students. I firmly believe in the importance of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the scientific community, with the ability to develop and nurture relationships and collaborations being a fundamentally important skill for a scientist.Outside the laboratory, I lead a dynamic life as a powerlifting coach, both privately and serving as the coach of the Oxford University Powerlifting Club. I have developed software to track training and performance variables, allowing me to provide interactive and personalised training programs. Several of my athletes have achieved international recognition under my guidance.I am excited to continue my journey in the field of quantum computing hardware, combining my passion for physics and technology to drive innovation and make meaningful contributions to the quantum computing landscape.
