Responsible for all sales and marketing functions for the largest exporter of Spanish olives in the world. Responsible for managing a broker network for both branded and private label packages of olives. (Customer base includes BJ'S Wholesale Club, Costco, Publix, HEB, and Albertsons and Kroger)PrimaryAccountabilities Responsible for retail sales in all major accounts in North America. Responsible for developing new broker networks in all new markets and managing the existing brokers where applicable. Responsible for Private Label segment and branded segment of A. Camacho's business, which includes some of the largest retailers in the country. (Kroger, Albertson's, Publix, etc.)SelectedHighlights Bid on and implemented a Private Label program with H.E.B.; yielded an 38% increase in case sales for FY2000. This project included label development and many hours of customer relationship development. The new business at this account is worth 100,000+ cases and approximately $9MM dollars. In addition to the original 12 SKU'S of olives was later awarded 5 USA produced specialty items, which generated 50,000 additional business and aid in helping efficiencies at our USA production facilities. Responsible for putting 6 new SKU'S of Private Label olive oil in to Albertsons (chain wide).
